The configuration profile for the server is typically created during installation. At the end of the installation process you need to ensure that "Clone System for AutoYaST" was checked and completed. The file is saved to /root/autoinst.xml. Unlike Jumpstart and Kickstart there is no way to update it automatically as you change the server but you can write scripts to do that.
You can also create an autoinst.xml file manually. Start the YaST2 Autoinstall configuration GUI with the command:
yast2 autoyast
During installation use:
autoyast=device://sda1/root/autoyast.xml
